We are performing the experimental characterization and the large-scale simulations to understand microstructure evolution in steels (e.g., electrical steel).
The ultimate goal of this project is to investigate the mechanism of phase transformations (e.g., recrystallization, grain growth) and achieve high magnetic properties (minimum iron loss) of electrical steels for high performance of transformers, electric motors, and generators.
